Jensen Homes usually has a rotating inventory of Used Homes for sale. We get these homes as trade-ins on our new homes, or, sometimes as purchases from banks, estates, and other sellers. We have full-time employees who have a primary responsiblity of re-furbishing, remodelling, and re-building these homes. And when these homes are finished, they sell very quickly due to the "good as new" type of condition. Based on our feed-back from customers, we know we are selling a quality product at a very good price.
Depending on each house, there is new paint, new texture on walls, new countertops, new plumbing fixtures (stools, sinks, faucets), new carpet, new windows, and the list goes on. We look at each house based on its' need and perform the improvements needed.
Many times these houses are sold BEFORE we complete the improvements as our buyers know that the supply of other used homes is limited, and a quality use home is even more difficult to find. If you are interested in a used home, and you have the ability, it is advisable to come look at the homes in progress, put down a deposit on the house and then pick colours and finishes to match your tastes, just like with a new house.
Price Ranges: Used single section homes will generally run from $10,000 to $22,000 (including local delivery and set-up). Multi-section homes will usually run from $15,000 to $40,000 depending on size, age, and features. We even are able to arrange financing on most used homes with a down payment, including some "Buy Here, Pay Here" financing.

Just into Caldwell, May-2010, we have this great 1995 Nashua 3 Bedroom and 2 Bathroom house for $34,900. Of all the houses we have seen in the last few years, this one is by far the nicest condition. Does not look like there were ever kids, pets, or smokers in the house. Just amazing condition.
